The Glenfiddich Journey, Part 3: Glenfiddich 14 Year, Bourbon Barrel Reserve

Jake and Greg continue the tasty journey through the Glenfiddich scotch whiskey expressions with this review of the Glenfiddich 14 Year, Bourbon Barrel Reserve. Subscribe and be on the lookout for our final, upcoming reviews of the Glenfiddich core lineup: Glenfiddich 18 and the Glenfiddich 21.

Glenfiddich 14, Bourbon Barrel Reserve is an excellent scotch for those who have typically favored bourbons, as the aging process takes American oak bourbon barrels and puts them to work, wonderfully. The palate here is really a great amount of sweetness, with a nice, unassuming scotch beginning and a high-end bourbon ending.

Jake and Greg chose to go a different route on formatting this episode. While it's more of a Churchill in length (less of a nubby like last weeks 'interlude' episode), they make an attempt to spice things up by breaking away from the routine, robotic use of the tasting sheet. Give this episode a listen!
